WHAT IS WORK-HOME LIFE BALANCE?

Work-Home Life Balance is Not a Destination. It’s a journey.

Work-Life Balance is a buzz word that means, “I’m not like my mother or grandmother”“I refuse to meet everyone else’s needs at the expense of my own.” “I am my first priority.” Having to choose between a successful career and a happy home is stressful! Being the perfect wife or mother is not the goal here. It depends on what your values are. And those values are very different from those of your friends, co-workers and family members. You need to choose what is most important to you as a key value. Your key values may include family, fun, entrepreneurship and financial security in that order. There is no right or wrong.

TESTIMONIALS

I am so glad I had the pleasure of being introduced to C. Lynn. She is a wonderful Motivational Speaker, she truly speaks from her experience as a way to relate to women and men, as well as Mothers and Fathers. I have enjoyed her Workshops as well weekly geared to Parents in the community. She comes in ready, organized and professional. I f you have never had the opportunity of being in a class or having her as a Speaker your missing out.

I just wanted to thank you for the opportunity to participate in the Empowering Student Growth program. You made everyone feels extremely welcome and comfortable discussing our children and the challenges that we all face as parents. What was extra special was the openness and friendliness of the other participants and how everyone was able to engage in the discussions, power point and activities. The manner in how you presented the individual topics was easy to follow and parent friendly as well as beneficial as a professional working with children of various backgrounds. I have and will continue to share and promote others to participate in the program…
